Air-Actuated Valves
All of the opening and closing of product lines is done with an Air-Actuated Valve.
Panels with solenoids for each valve are located throughout the bays and are triggered by a 24 volt signal. This allows air to pass through the black air lines and open the valve. When not triggered, the air returns to the blue air line and keeps the valve in a closed position.
This fallback to a closed position ensures that no product is added accidentally through back-siphoning or a loss of air pressure.
